05:09 PM ET 06.27 | Carmelo Anthony didn't show much wear, but donning a shoulder sleeve during the playoffs made it clear he wasn't 100 percent. The New York Knicks forward bettered his 28.7 scoring averaged by 0.1 during the playoffs, but that came with a drop in his shooting percentage from 44.9 to 40.6 percent. How much the shoulder bothered his play is hard to say; defenses clamped down on Anthony as his teammates struggled, to be sure. Anthony said that his injury that occurred on April 14 is much better and it probably won't require surgery. "I don't think so," Anthony told ESPN New York. "My shoulder feels much better. For the past 4-to-5 weeks, I've let it rest. It's still not 100 percent yet."

It will not happen with the current Knicks team, along with the success of the Pacers, a healthy Bulls squad, and Lebron showing he can beat you in different ways with the Heat. Just forget about it.

YET! The Knicks are just not the lucky. It's going to wind up being something that keeps coming back until it ends Melo's career. You heard it here first!

If you've got his number you can give him the only ring he'll ever get.
