05:25 PM ET 06.27 | On Wednesday, the New England Patriots announced that they no longer want Aaron Hernandez on the team. On Thursday, the other 31 NFL teams made it official that they don???t want Hernandez either. Hernandez passed through the NFL???s waiver system and went unclaimed. That comes as no surprise, coming after Hernandez was arrested and charged with first-degree murder. Hernandez, who was denied bail today and faces possible life imprisonment if convicted, may never get out of jail.

Of course he cleared waivers. Jeez, film at 11.

I like the way the judge went about denying bail.

"This gentleman, either by himself or with two other individuals that he requested come to the Commonwealth, basically, in a cold-blooded fashion, killed a person because that person disrespected him," Dupuis said. "If that's true, and based upon presentation it seems to be, I'm not confident that type of individual would -- he obviously doesn't adhere to societal rules. The idea that I can release him on a bracelet and he would comply with court rules is not something that I am willing to accept."

Good.

Expect the Baltimore Raisins to show interest in Hernandez in the coming weeks. Uncle Ray Ray can counsel the young TE on how to get away with murder the next time and the people of Baltimore are so numb to senseless gang violence they will thing Aaron is just another homie.

He'd still be too easy to cover. Just stick a defender in the cell.

Cowboys need a TE when Witten retires.. Jerry is just 'smart' enough to put in a claim

June 27, 2013  07:06 PM ET

"NFL clubs were advised today that if Aaron Hernandez enters into a player contract prior to the resolution of the charges pending against him, the contract will not be approved or take effect until Commissioner Roger Goodell holds a hearing. The purpose of the hearing would be to determine whether Hernandez should be suspended or face other action prior to the charges being resolved."

Unclench, Roger. His next team will play their games in the east yard during exercise breaks.

So, all Hernandez has to do is fly out to see Roger.

Oh, yeah. No bail. Do you suppose the NFL would do the hearing through the visitor glass at the jail?
