07:20 AM ET 06.28 | Mack Brown received the call, and the Longhorns have picked up recruit Nos. 20 and 21 for the Class of 2014. Texas City brothers Armanti Foreman and D???Onta Foreman decided stick together on Thursday night and committed to Texas. Armanti, a four-star wide receiver, had narrowed it down to Texas and Texas A&M but ultimately sided with the Longhorns. D'Onta, a three-star running back, chose Texas over offers from Houston, Illinois, Kansas State, Missouri and Washington State. "It's wonderful," D'Onta told ESPN.com. "Texas is always going to be Texas. They have a big, top-10 program and just a wonderful program. For them to offer me and for me to actually play there is wonderful. I'm really happy they offered both of us. We can really contribute in their offense."

No, but it seems they still get about a lot of who they want, except every now and then they lose someone.

Armanti is an inside/slot guy with lots of speed. D'Onta is a big back that replaces the Gresham kid who decommitted and went to Louisville. Probably a better option for the offense then Gresham who was more of a FB type.

my aggie bil swore they would get armanti

but, how many wr's are in this class now?

Why are we having so much trouble landing DLs and LBs? Is there a recruiting issue with Manny? Do we need to send him packing?

I meant to say DBs, not DLs. Although, come to think of it, there ain't a lot of DLs in the 2014 class, either. But there are about 1,000 quality DBs in the state who will be HS seniors this year, and so far we've landed roughly 0% of them. Whiskey.Tango.Foxtrot?

We've got a huge WR class with lots of speed and, finally, a couple of big bodies that could play the #1 role.

You are right the lack of DB offers is a head scratcher. Not many 4/5* DL's in the state. And you would think LB would be a position of priority considering how the unit played last year when Hicks went down.

There's a number of young LB's on roster, so I would expect next year to be the year to load up

Db's is a concern, but, that's what the 3-4th string QB is for, right?
