07:22 AM ET 06.28 | The long and winding ride that has become Rushel Shell's offseason may be close to pulling into a new football home. The former Pitt running back has narrowed the choices for his eventual destination to West Virginia, Ohio State and Kentucky, according to his mother, Toni Zuccaro. Earlier this week, Shell, after having a last-minute change of heart about his impending transfer to UCLA, reached out to the Pitt coaching staff about a possible return to the Panthers. Coach Paul Chryst was not interested in Shell returning and, according to a source, the coaching staff never seriously considered a possible reinstatement. ... [Zuccaro] said her son's decision to not go to UCLA was prompted by a going-away party the family threw for him on Father's Day.

Bucks are loaded at RB for the forseeable future. The OSU scholarship offer was during the Tressel regime. Unlikely Meyer will want him. Now, the Akron Zips could use some help...

Good to see you Harley, missing ya. Kentucky lock, I hope.

HiYa, O-6. Shell might find a home in KY. Probably his best bet with a family to feed.

Should head to Toledo. Already the best team in that state.

Hmmm...now there's a provocative statement for Buckeye fans to chew on this early in the morning. Sorry I can't oblige you with an equally specious retort.
