07:25 AM ET 06.28 | Chicago Blackhawks forward Viktor Stalberg may just want to take his Cup and walk away from Chicago. [Stalberg] said Thursday he would likely play next season wherever he could get the most consistent playing time. Stalberg will become an unrestricted free agent next week after spending the last three seasons with the Blackhawks. ... He played less than 10 minutes in nine playoff games. "I think over the last three years I've showed I deserve to play maybe more times than I got an opportunity to do here," Stalberg said at the United Center on Thursday. "I think that's just how it is. You're on one of the best teams, and you have some of the best players in the world in front of you. That's what it is.

Stalberg is also nuts - learn how to play defencively, then do it - looking pretty, might do it for mom, and the dollies, but it ain't gonna get ya the big bucks, or, any extra ice time.

What an awful spectacle in Chicago! All those thousands of people out in the streets and no vehicles burning, no looting, no vandalism, no buildings in flames. Just awful! They should've imported a couple of hundred Vancouverites to show Chicagoans how to celebrate! :-)

I think it would be pretty sweet to make a million dollars to sit in a club suite or at the end of the bench of a championship club. I'm pretty sure I'd find that more fun than playing 15 minutes a game for team that loses 70% of its games.

Plus 1 to that. I am sure that there are a few that think just like that. And they played for the Wings:)

How embarrassing to the Miami Heat that the Chicago hockey celebrations made the Heat celebration look like a Kwanzaa parade that no one went to.

Stalberg is such a underachiever. It's too bad because he is a talent!
