10:44 PM ET 06.28 | As first reported by ESPN's Chris Broussard, Dwight Howard is planning to leave LA and the team leading the race for Dwight Howard's services is the Dallas Mavericks. Houston is also in solid contention and until Dallas clears cap space, is the team to watch. With the NBA draft tonight expect a ton of trade talk as Dallas looks to move Shawn Marion and/or their 1st round pick. Howard is already leaving $30M on the table to leave LA, he will not take less than a max contract from the Mavs. With Chris Paul now seemingly off the market the Dallas Mavericks have one last hope -- to sign Dwight Howard. Dwight Howard is the last Superstar available and the Mavericks will need to give it everything they got if they want to lure him.

If LA is out of the equation, then sure Dallas has a very good shot at getting Howard. Basically it may just be between HOU and DAL, so yeah 50-50 chance.

I predict in 12 months Howard will be once again unhappy and demand a trade.
