Houston transfer Joseph Young lands with Oregon

09:59 AM ET 06.29 | Joseph Young has resurfaced in Oregon. Young has decided to play basketball with the Ducks his father Micheal Young said Friday. Young led the Cougars with 18 points per game, which was also good enough for second best in C-USA. He will attempt to receive a waiver from the NCAA to be eligible for the upcoming season. Michael Young, former Houston player, lost his position as director of basketball operations at UH and made the decision to leave the university instead of taking a lesser role in the program.

If he doesn't get it he'll sit out a year and play as a senior in 2014-15. Either way Altman is putting together a sneaky good team that made the sweet 16 last season.
