10:26 AM ET 06.29 | San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore won't participate in the team's training camp, according to Lattimore on the NFL Network's NFL Total Access program. Lattimore said that he did a lot during organized team activities, but that he "probably won't do training camp." Lattimore went on to say that he'd like to get a chance to practice "mid-season." The 49ers open training camp in late July, and though all signs point to Lattimore's recovery going well to this point, the knee injuries he sustained in college were very serious. After all, Lattimore was considered a possible first overall pick prior to those injuries.

More or less.

If we were talking about post season play then it'd be "Less is Mora".

They never expected him to play in 2013 and will put him on the PUP list. For the next year he will be under the care and supervision of doctors and trainers.

This is a player I would like to see Roger Craig or Jerry Rice show "The Hill". His whole offseason should be about building endurance, which is also important in rehabbing the knee. They plan to use him quit a bit in 2014.

He shouldn't see the football field in 2013. Everything he does should be geared to 2014.

And yes - The Hill would be the perfect place for him.
