12:29 PM ET 06.29 | In a surprise move, the Bulls will not renew the contract of lead assistant coach Ron Adams. General manager Gar Forman made the call on Adams, not head coach Tom Thibodeau. This most recent stint was Adams' second with the Bulls. Prior to this stint under Thibodeau, Adams was on Scott Brooks' staff in Oklahoma City. Adams left the Thunder in order to be closer to his family, who had remained in Chicago following Adams' time with the Bulls under Scott Skiles.

hmmm they will need to hire a LOT of guys for them to be anywhere close to competitive. If Howards walks, it could be a lottery season for the Lakers.
