04:40 PM ET 06.29 | Philadelphia Eagles running back Bryce Brown had several dogs seized from a facility in a suspected fighting operation in Wisconsin, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. Brown himself is not tied to the alleged operation. A pit bull, Eilis, and her seven puppies were removed from the breeding kennel Northland Pits on May 21. The kennel's owner, Joseph A. Sudbrink, was arrested and charged with mistreating animals. A humane officer said she saw scarring on the dogs and believed they were part of a fighting organization. Several dogs also contracted ringworm and were living in substandard conditions.

Unbelievable.

June 29, 2013  05:05 PM ET

This is not news. Unfounded allegations on a wave of crimes committed by Hernandez only serves to heighten a reporters' frenzy to indict as many as possible. Leave this good man alone before you have a damned stroke upstaging a fine individual!

Here we go again. Let's hope that other members of the Philly offense weren't aware of it.

I said yesterday Choirboy missed the days of dog fighting and steriods but I was only kidding, sheeesh.

June 29, 2013  05:16 PM ET

Brown did nothing wrong, he just asked Michael where he would kennel his dog if he could have one to kennel.

Yup, and it's only a matter of time before some try to make connections to Vick. True or unfounded, that's what having a criminal background can get you.

Has the commish had a stroke yet?

A headline purposely designed to make you think Brown has done something wrong, forcing you to read this bush league fishwrap.

June 29, 2013  07:01 PM ET

??? Soooo there wasn't a dog-fighting ring, just poor conditions and scars?

So... They're "his" dogs but "he's" not tied to dog fighting?

OK.

What these dogs do on their own time is their business.

June 29, 2013  10:06 PM ET

Maybe he just likes dogs?
