09:05 AM ET 06.30 | While the Coyotes' ownership situation remains in limbo, the team has already locked up general manager Don Maloney and coach Dave Tippett this offseason. And according to a report Saturday night, they might be on the verge of another significant re-signing. TSN's Darren Dreger reported via Twitter that the Coyotes and goalie Mike Smith, who is set to become a free agent on July 5, are close to a six-year contract that would keep Smith with the franchise through the 2018-19 season. Dreger added that the deal, which he emphasized has not yet been finalized, is expected to pay Smith about $5.7 million per season.

I heard that's not all rain. Doesn't the rain take a break somewhere in the middle of July for a day or two?

Trivia question: Who said "My main focus had been and has been to look at the places where perhaps we could go back to the fans that once supported us before we look at someone new"?
