08:06 PM ET 06.30 | While it was reported earlier that the Columbus Blue Jackets were shopping netminder Sergei Bobrovsky and that the Edmonton Oilers had offered the seventh overall pick in the draft in exchange for the Vezina Trophy winner. But while the offer seems to had been made, it appears the Blue Jackets have passed on all of them, no matter how sweet they were, and re-signed the netminder to a two-year deal. This is good news for Blue Jackets fans who want to see Sergei Bobrovsky come back and help lead the team into the future. He burst onto the scene in a big way this season and helped make Columbus a competitor in the playoff hunt. They ultimately fell short of securing a trip to the postseason but it was thanks to the efforts of Sergei Bobrovsky that the Blue Jackets came so close. He's also gaining an image around the NHL as he was a finalist for the NHL 14 cover vote, losing to legend Martin Brodeur, and he picked up the Vezina Trophy which honors the best netminder in hockey.

Cover of NHL 14?

Please.

this was an online vote held during the Cup playoffs. All of the 6 CBJ fans had nothing better to do than to hit "vote again" on the website. Fans of REAL teams were watching their guys go at it for the most cherished trophy in Professional sports.
