07:39 AM ET 07.01 | While reports find Danny Briere having drawn interest from up to 15 teams, the feeding frenzy on Vincent Lecavalier picked up over the weekend, too. [On Sunday, Lecavalier met] with the Dallas Stars, Philadelphia, Montreal, Toronto, Washington Capitals, St. Louis Blues and Boston. Three other clubs called after the fact Sunday to express their interest, putting the list at a dozen teams. This was not the original plan. The Lecavalier camp, led by agent Kent Hughes, had hoped to dwindle the list down by Sunday afternoon. That's still going to happen, but over the next few days instead. The asking price continues to evolve. It's going to take $4-5 million a season and 4-6 years to get Lecavalier to sign with you.

I do too...but I wouldn't rule out Dallas.

Solid guy, will score between 20-30 goals. His production has been steadily declining, he's now 32. No 6 year deal, but a guy you'd like to have on the ice. Hope Montreal can snag him on a four year deal.

Sure. Everybody wants something for nothing. But, they're all finding out that it's going to take a lot more than they can afford.

I've convinced myself that's where he's heading. It's Tampa without water or Scientologists.

We got water... wish we didn't have these damn Zebra mussels though. Kills the tourism trade.

Scientologists better keep to themselves, though. Southern Baptists can be a bit rigid in their interpretation of the Good Book.

Used to be... when a boat, beer and hot chicks were the order of the day.

Man - priorities do tend to change as we get older. Now it's golf, beer and hot chicks with beer carts.

There are Southern Baptists... and there is Westboro Baptist. I think the Southern Baptists would actually beat the hell out of the Westboro folks.
