06:22 PM ET 07.02 | The New York Knicks are looking for some scoring help to run along side Carmelo Anthony next season and while they are set to acquire Andrea Bargnani, more help will likely be needed. That would explain the Knicks' interest in Chicago Bulls point guard Nate Robinson but while the two sides met on Monday, Knicks writer Marc Berman says don't hold your breath on a reunion. Robinson played with the Knicks over the years and was productive during his time there. Not only would he be able to come in and be a productive piece of the Knicks' championship puzzle, he was a fan favorite while in New York which wouldn't hurt at all. After joining the Bulls, it looked like Robinson might have been bought out before his contract was guaranteed but with Derrick Rose sitting the season out, Chicago hung onto him and made a serious run in the postseason because of his efforts. In the Bulls' Eastern Conference series against the Brooklyn Nets, Robinson went bananas more than once and helped Chicago win the series.

Sounds like a no brainer. The Knicks should sign him !Then again, the Knicks really have no brains, so maybe they'll miss out on this opportunity. Nate may not be star material, but he's quite good as a player off the bench.

The Knicks wanna use that money to sign JR :-)

JR blows. Pure and simple. He blows

Yeah, Nate did help out a depleted (injuries) Bulls team last year in the playoffs.

Nothing personal but Nate will always be a liability on defense because of his height. A team that's looking to win it all won't sign a player that gives up something - that's not to say he's a bad player. He more than makes up for what he doesn't have by other things really well.... but then again.....

As if the Knicks don't have enough headaches already. They don't have time for Nate, not when they are trying to figure out how they can dump Amare's contract.
