07:15 AM ET 07.03 | A few days after Anibal Sanchez's Monday rehab start was cut short, Tigers fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Tigers manager Jim Leyland confirmed Tuesday that Sanchez was OK after being hit by a line drive in Lakeland and expected the 29-year-old to make his next start for the Tigers on Saturday. ... He was expected to throw around 60 [pitches but only made it to 23]. "It wasn't near as many (pitches) as we would've liked, but he felt great," said Leyland about Sanchez, who was expected to arrive in Toronto late Tuesday. Leyland said the Tigers didn't think much of assigning Sanchez another rehab start, but admitted that he will need to keep an eye on the right-hander's pitch count Saturday.

" but he felt great," said Leyland about Sanchez.

I'd expect commentary like this from a Bay-area manager, not the Motor City Kitties' skipper.

Sure, go ahead and start him on Saturday. We don't mind.

Signed,
The Cleveland Indians
