07:34 AM ET 07.03 | The Washington Capitals, who traded for Mike Ribeiro a year ago, are going to let him walk via free agency. The 33-year-old centre's wife, Tamara, is none too pleased about the situation. "Nothing like being uprooted from your home for a year for absolutely no apparent reason," she tweeted, along with the hashtag #pissedbeyondbelief. Tamara, who goes by the Twitter handle @Angeltw3, has three children with Mike. Ribeiro is coming off a five-year, $25-million contract and was seeking a five-year extension from the Capitals who were unwilling to meet his demands, according to RDS. He scored 13 goals and had 36 assists in 48 games for the Caps last season.

If you want the most money, you have to go to the place that is going to pay it.

She's a twit, and there's a letter that needs to be replaced in that. But i'm not too sure why the Caps aren't locking him up. Where else are they going to find that kind of stability at centre right now? Tyler Bozak?

And if you've ever seen her you'd know for a trophy wife she needs some polishing.

And you'd think she'd be happy that he goes down so easily...
