01:50 PM ET 07.03 | Tyreke Evans is enjoying his trip on the NBA free agency market this offseason and playing with the hearts of Sacramento Kings fans while received a massive, $44 million offer sheet from the New Orleans Pelicans. It's an offer sheet he may never sign. The Kings were believed to have no interest in matching the huge offer from New Orleans in order to keep Evans around. Turns out they may not have to anyway. We are not sure what the snag is here, as $44 million is a heck of a lot of cash, but it could have to do with the quality of both franchises. Evans could also be holding out to see where other superstars may land and if he can catch more money from another team that steps in at the last second.

Guess you got that one wrong. Hindsight is 20/20. What made you think he wouldn't sign the deal with the prospect of playing another year with DeMarcus Cousins.
