07:30 AM ET 07.04 | Kentucky signees Aaron and Andrew Harrison and James Young are reportedly not enrolled in summer school with the rest of UK's incoming freshmen basketball class. [But] they plan to be in Lexington to practice with the team and be enrolled in the fall. Aaron Harrison Sr. told The Courier-Journal his twin sons are still in Lexington and taking some classes but "a different load than the others." The father said he didn't want to explain the situation incorrectly, though, and referred all further questions to UK. Young's godfather, Sean Mahone, also deferred explanation on enrollment to the school but said, "You'll be seeing lots of us off and on this summer," and added: "James is looking forward to playing there this fall."

No big deal ! They just stay 6 months and then leave anyway. Why would they want to go to summer school.

Why enroll early?

The typical one-and-done player goes to class in the fall out of necessity. When the spring semester rolls around they'll quit going to class altogether focusing instead on conference play, tournaments and the draft (with the help of their handlers of course).

What a joke CBB has become at the basketball factories like Kentucky.

Kentucky basketball and an education just do not fit. It's like having Oral surgeons in Kentucky. No teeth no need for Dentists.

You don't go to classes if you play football or basketball in the SEC. You play with you Xbox and get credit.

Been easier if I had written TU. It hurt to write that other word (as a reference to that school...lol)

After they play those "old" sparties, they will be left very blue for sure.

We prefer our way. Kids stay, become men and some even earn their degree. Hope your family is coping with their recent lost.

You go to summer school to take easy courses and get high grades, and that acts as a buffer and keeps you academically eligible through the second semester when you are playing in the conference and NCAA tournaments.

You play with you Xbox? Wow...Someone who can't write with any more literacy than that probably shouldn't cast aspersions on the lack of education of anyone else...

He made a simple spelling error. Sounds like you're AFRAID he was telling the truth. What is the truth? That the SEC is a great athletic conference that churns out thugs and illiterates at an alarming rate.

3m ta3. I know your not talking about thugs in kentucky. As many thugs as ya'll have in the state of texas!! Hahah very funny. I'm from ky, proud of it. Half the ppl commenting on here are from texas I see. Why so serious? Harrison twins didnt want stay there for a reason. ya'll are weak in bball. I guess mudiay dropping your precious state from his list today was an accident to huh? Don't hate cause they came to ky. Because if they stayed home they would leave after a yr there to. so what's your excuse?? I hope mudiay picks uk to. Maybe your school should recruit better.
