11:04 AM ET 07.04 | ESPN analyst and former Notre Dame Fighting Irish basketball coach Digger Phelps has learned the good news that he is cancer-free, just two months after being diagnosed with bladder cancer. Phelps received the positive news after completing a six-week treatment program and just one day before his 72nd birthday. Phelps will return to television this season, but he will still be undergoing "maintenance treatments" every three months for the next two years.

This X 1,000

Lost my sister to breast cancer when she was only 40...after a long, 4 year battle. Left behind three boys under the age of 12.

I wouldn't wish that journey on my worst enemy & def not a subject worth joking about.
