07:13 AM ET 07.05 | The talent, of course, is there, and Sacramento hopes to build around it for years to come. [Kings GM] Pete D'Alessandro, coach Michael Malone and former NBA player Junior Bridgeman -- a friend of new Kings owner Vivek Ranadive -- visited center DeMarcus Cousins in his hometown of Mobile, Ala., on Wednesday to let Cousins know they consider him a cornerstone of the franchise's future. "DeMarcus is a really talented player and we look forward to him being a major part of this team," D'Alessandro told Yahoo! Sports. ... Cousins is open to signing a long-term deal with the Kings, one source close to him said. Cousins averaged 17.1 points and 9.9 rebounds for the Kings last season.

Don't do it Queens, Cousins is immature and a cancer on & off the court.

QUOTE(#2):

Why is he living in mobile Alabama?

Doesn't he know he's rich?

Maybe he is that crazy

Well.....it's the off-season, so maybe he just wanted to go home to mama.....

Also, he's still on his rookie contract, so it's not like he has 10's of millions of dollars. Hell....I bet he's spent most of what he's earned to this point.

And as far as him being crazy,; there's almost no doubt about that. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and chalk his issues up to immaturity.

this guy is a cancer, he'll ruin this team if he is thought of as the feature guy

Having talent and making the most of that talent are 2 different things.
