05:39 PM ET 07.05 | The Cincinnati Bengals coaching staff is gushing over rookie running back Giovani Bernard. They say he will be integral in the improvement of the Bengals offense. Bernard is said to be good enough catching passes that he could play wide receiver. That could be bad news for Bengals starting running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis. Even Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is excited about the young player and hinted that he could be shouldering the load for their ground game, carrying the ball 25 times and grinding it out, not just being a home-run threat.

If you have a competent RB in BGE, and Bernard is good catching the ball, I would hope decent coaches would find a way to have both assets on the field most plays.

Bernard is going to look good in any offense... He is like a durable scat back...

That's the way i feel about him,

As he's short, and can cut fast ,and i think Cincy got the right RB for the team's needs.

More like BGE in on running plays and Bernard in on passing downs in today's NFL.
