05:45 PM ET 07.05 | This one doesn't exactly come off as shocking news, but reports indicate Daryl Richardson is likely to be the St. Louis Rams' starting running back this season. Richardson is wanting a bigger role in the offense and this could be the chance he has been waiting for. With an impressive training camp and preseason, he could officially lock up the job.

I don't understand why the Rams allowed Jackson to void the final year of his six-year contract signed in 2007, even though he had not met the requirements to do so, making him a free agent following the end of the season.

They should have picked up Bradshaw, he could have helped them!

Good point, but the Rams main problem last year was the offensive line. If the -O- line can improve, then it really doesn't matter who carrys the ball.
