05:51 PM ET 07.05 | The San Antonio Spurs recently signed Marco Belinelli, meaning excellent sixth-man Gary Neal is likely to sign with another team in NBA free agency. Neal is line for a nice pay day after averaging nine points off the bench last year. We don't know what teams are looking into giving him an offer sheet, but many could use the help Neal provides.

Neal wants to be a Knick and says he'll take a pay cut to do it.

Kyle Krover, a one dimensional player just got paid $6M per. I guess that's the baseline for 3-point shooters now.

With the resigning of JR Smith that now (NYK) seems unlikely. ...However, the Lakers need all the shooters they can get.

QUOTE(#4):

Neal is a solid bench guy. I'd give him 3 mil or so...but not more than 2 years

I would have done the same thing with Krover too....Hawks really messed it up AGAIN.

Did himself fine in the Playoffs until it counted most, but what can you say. The Spurs are the type of team where a players limitations can be hid. Neal going else where might not be the best idea for him.

Thanks to Gary for his time with the Spurs. Wish him the best. Get paid, GN. You deserve it!

A pay cut? Dude makes $854,389!!! That comment was a joke, right? You can't make much less than that in the NBA if you tried!!!
