Potential Dodgers-White Sox deal

08:13 AM ET 07.07 | If the White Sox aren't committed to rebuilding, they could be a good fit for Andre Ethier, with Jake Peavy going to the Dodgers. For that to happen, Peavy needs to return healthy after the All-Star break. He could make three starts to show that he still can be an impact guy. Finding playing time for Yasiel Puig, Matt Kemp, Carl Crawford and Ethier will be tricky for Don Mattingly. Look for all of them to come off the bench once a week, including Puig.

That doesn't help the Sox rebuild at all.

Plus the Dodgers just traded for Ricky Nolasco yesterday. Do they want Peavy now too? Or does the Nolasco deal make this story pointless. I'd be curious to see how old this story is.

With Crawford's injury history I would hope the Dodgers keep Andre.

This makes way too much sense for the Dodgers to even consider.
