07:15 AM ET 07.08 | Of the Elite 11 and the 150 players at The Opening, none impressed more relative to his standing going into the event than Florida native Sean White. White took home most valuable player honors in both events, topping the Elite 11 list of best quarterbacks around the country, and led his Field Generals 7-on-7 team to a 21-14 victory against Alpha Pro in The Opening final. White's biggest gain from both events has been the national exposure he has received. ... "It's pretty funny -- I didn't do anything different that I haven't done before," said White, who has interest from Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Auburn, South Carolina and North Carolina. "Now it's just on a bigger stage and it's a national thing, so now everyone's taking notice."

Duke, son. Make an unofficial visit and get the straight stuff from Dave Cutcliffe. If he offers you a scholly, jump on it.

Any chance Cutcliff will join Petrion's staff and make a prodical son-type return to Tennessee?

You are nothing if not persistent.

What'll Tinnie wish upon you for this one? An infestation of intestinal worms? Ticks on all your kids? The need for a lifetime "Hair Club For Men" membership?

No. Dave's not a jump around guy. He has a HC gig at an ACC school, and his wife likes living in the NC triangle.
