01:29 PM ET 07.08 | Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is in the midst of a legal battle surrounding his chain of truck stops. He is facing 18 civil suits currently. In a recent phone interview, the Browns owner was asked if he had any plans to sell the Cleveland Browns. "Absolutely not," Haslam said. "We plan on owning the Browns for a long time." As his financial problems grow, selling the Browns could bring some quick financial relief. Haslam however simply wanted to tout what he has done for his franchise as he holds on to ownership.

His ownership of the team will be protected when he files Chapter 11 so that he can pay something to his creditors.
