07:11 AM ET 07.09 | Take it or leave it? The Cleveland Cavaliers are pushing for free-agent center Andrew Bynum to accept a two-year, $24 million-plus, incentive-based contract offer, league sources told Yahoo! Sports on Monday night. The Cavaliers met with Bynum in Cleveland on Monday, but could fast lose patience with waiting on the two-time NBA champion center to make a decision on accepting the offer, which includes a team option in the second year of the deal, sources said. Bynum, 25, left Cleveland to travel to Atlanta to meet with Hawks officials, and Cleveland has begun to engage free agents Andrei Kirilenko and Elton Brand on possible one-year deals that would preclude the Cavaliers from the ability to sign Bynum, league sources said.

Could make them slightly more competitive, but ultimately Bynum is gonna continue to be a moron. There is a reason he is not wokring out for teams.

Smart move Cavs, smart move. 2 year option 24 mil with the the team option for the 2nd year was smart. If it dont work out this season, then let him go and move on. If it does, then keep him on the cheap!

Even $12M per is a waste of money for someone that doesn't even have the discipline to stay in shape for team workouts. It isn't like he didn't know he'll have to work out for teams.

I rather have a hard-working, mature player than a talented moron on my team.
Don't DO IT HAWKS!!!!
