07:12 AM ET 07.09 | Kobe Bryant, who isn't shy when it comes to his Twitter takes, popped up again Monday night on the social media platform. And um ... the Black Mamba is not a happy mamba. [@kobebryant:] "No game 7 win without Metta! This is a tough day for laker nation #misspeace #newcbacasualty" ... "Personally I'd keep Metta and make a run with the unit we have and just add a few pieces #keepthepeace #lakersstilldeciding" ... When he gets chatty, there's not "What's up, fam?!" it's just straight talk from the Lakers future Hall of Famer. We'll see if Bryant publicly telling the organization he doesn't agree with their decision will prompt them to change their approach.

Nice! I'll let the fans do the talking. Saving $30 million should be saying a lot.

You would think...

who's gonna fill the 3 spot?

No doubt it's for the betterment of the team financially. But [even though most won't], you have to admire Kobe's faithfulness to his teammate. Plus the fact that he made the statement "No game 7 win without Metta!" tells me he's NOT ALWAYS the self centered egomaniac he's ALWAYS accused of being...

ummmmm sorry, that he is. Always has been. No game 7 only means they will be long eliminated before they can get to a game 7.
This is Kobe again expressing some thing when things don't go HIS way or when he wasn't part of a decision making.

This 100%! Now that DwightMare II is over and they lost out, it's time for a rebuild. And it's likely to get ugly now with this guy. He's at the end of the road and is delusional thinking they actually have a shot at the title. Whining about dumping Artest is proof. There is no "run at the title" in his future.

And the best part of the destruction of the Lakers is bringing in Nash and Dumbtoni. Self imposed by their own stupidity.

If they would've done the smart thing and hired Phil there is no way Howard leaves.

Why not amnesty Kobe...? He's going to give them less than 1/2 a season at $30 million.

Quit making sense...

Then you'd have no one to spew you hatred towards. How many titles does your NBA team have?

Good signing in Kaman, now then a void at the 3 is now open....
A few guys can be got.....Sam Young,Nick Young,Kirilenko,Corey Brewer,Wesley Johnson,Anthony Morrow,Odom...

Why not amnesty Blake?

"Blake will only make $4 million over each of the next two seasons, so it doesn't make sense for the team to use the one time clause on him."

QUOTE(#17):

yup-

If kobe is suck a laker...he'd get amnestied- rehab the year,
allow LA to save EIGHTY million $ in payroll
then come back for 2 final years as a sidekick to someone else

...but alas...he thinks he's going to carry any team he's a part of to another ring, based on his history.....not realizing he's getting older & he's coming off a horrible injury- and after, arguably maybe one of his best all around seasons- he barely carried them to the playoffs

But I don't blame kobe - as he SHOULD feel he's still the man.
I blame laker management, for not having the balls to do whats best for the franchise

Sad as it is, I'm not going to disagree with this one.

In fact, it should have been his pitch to Howard to keep him in town...
