07:06 AM ET 07.10 | So long, Hedo. The Orlando Magic are progressing on contract buyout talks with forward Hedo Turkoglu, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. With the Magic working to construct the franchise around a rapidly improving young core, team officials and Turkoglu are eager to part ways. No buyout deal is imminent, but the sides have been moving closer on possible terms, sources said. Should an agreement be reached and he clears waivers, Turkoglu will join the free-agent market. The Pacers have had strong interest in the past, but it's unclear if they'd have a roster spot for him. Before the signing of free agent Chris Copeland, the Pacers were a team with interest in Turkoglu, league sources said. Now, Indiana has become a less likely landing spot for him.

Don't the jazz need players?
Am sure they will try and sign Turk..

Remember also Turk is mentally weak..
Back in 2009 when he was playing like an all star Ariza got into his head during the NBA Finals, and his play was never the same since that time....

If he is healthy and for 15-18mpg, he'd be a decent pickup. His days starting are over.

This new CBA is killing the players... back then such a player will be hot on the street like he's on the Sacramento kings.

I've always thought the Knick fans were the most boisterous and obnoxious on these boards. Seems like the Cavs fans have them beat. For a team that's really done nothing in the league, their fans sure make too much noise and chest-thumping.

Can't wait for the season-opener when KI shows up with a bum-knee caused while boarding the team bus.

Not sure why you keep trying to make knick jokes to me anymore, as I am not a fan of them, so.....

As a part-time Knicks fan I am 'keeping it in the family'?
