07:01 AM ET 07.11 | Yes, Trey Burke was ready to play Wednesday morning, but he didn't get the chance. The former Michigan star and Utah Jazz rookie was warmed up for the game against the Brooklyn Nets and anxious to put into the past his uneven start to summer-league play. But a few minutes before tip-off, Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin pulled Burke aside. He told him it would be a good idea for him to watch and go at it [Thursday] against the Indiana Pacers. ... The numbers have not been kind for Burke in his first two games: 22.2% shooting (6-for-27 including 1-for-10 on three-pointers), a 9.5-points-per-game scoring average and only seven assists and six turnovers in 57 minutes. He sat next to Jazz assistant coach Brad Jones during Wednesday's game.

Real good move by coach. I hope the kid learned a thing or two. Sometimes it's good to take a step back in order to move forward the right way....

Mo Williams is smiling right now. I'm surprise he hasn't gotten an offer yet.

The dumb Hawks are getting ready to make him an offer. They don't wanna match $32M to Teague but would like an worn out Mo. smh....

Didn't I read somewhere that this kid was the favorite to be Rookie of the Year? X^D *Haha!* He should have stayed another year in college and really learned how to play against taller, faster competition. He struggled in that area last year. How could he think that it would be any easier on the next level? He needs to fire his advisers... Whoever they are.
