07:08 AM ET 07.12 | Especially with some time to think about it, Emmanuel Porter isn't losing much sleep over the change of heart. The Dallas Lincoln wide receiver made one of the most difficult decisions of his entire life last month when he decommitted from TCU after being part of the Horned Frogs' 2014 class for nearly a year and flipped his pledge to Texas. But it was a family decision, and Porter is content with being a Longhorn. ... [With his decision out of the way,] Porter is focused on having a monster senior season after recording 29 receptions for 421 yards and three touchdowns. Over the weekend, the 6-foot-3. 190-pounder continued his rigorous summer training by taking part in the Quick Twitch Skills Clinic. Porter, who garnered the nickname He-Man after a phenomenal outing, is determined to hone his craft in the next few months.

0-6 just being funny. His eyes work well enough to read the whole thing. Any thoughts on this switch from the effected parties?

Yeah, UTx gets a big bodied receiver (we've got plenty of smaller fast guys)

July 12, 2013  09:28 AM ET

Probably best for both.

Patterson has done more with less talent and Brown has done less with more talent.

Better fit.

Agree with you, DC. Probably not good enough to become a FROG starter anyway.
