08:58 AM ET 07.14 | The Marlins have been lampooned nationally for offering, on their web site, an "exclusive discount" for Washington pitcher Gio Gonzalez's family and friends for this weekend's Nationals series, even though he wasn't scheduled to pitch. But the ridicule is unfair; Gonzalez???s family asked the Marlins to do that.

I'm sure if Gio's family waited until after the 1st Pitch they could have any seat in the house for next to nothing.

They are overstocked with Hot Dogs, Beer and Peanuts, it seems nobody is coming to their new park, I wonder Why? Their beginning to win some games!!!

Everyone involved in this story is a moron. Loria, the Gonzalez family... all of them.

This is dumb.

People need to affiliate with their own teams.

Same with the All Star voting. Why the heck did the Giants and Tigers buddy up with each other? Other teams couple up, too, and it's weird.

IMHO.
