12:02 PM ET 07.14 | The New York Knicks shocked the NBA world this offseason by not playing a major part in NBA free agency, but by making a major trade for Andrea Bargnani. Of course, Bargnani comes with an injury risk after the issues he had last season. Now that he has had a full offseason to recover and train, Bargnani feels he is finally back to 100 percent and ready to contribute for the Knicks. The Knicks better hope Bargnani is fully healthy if they are looking to compete next season. With Amare Stoudemire looking at a minutes cap in order to keep him healthy the team is going to have to find a second scoring option behind Carmelo Anthony.

QUOTE(#4):

The EC looks like Miami, Indy, Nyets, Bulls, Cavs, Detroit, Knicks, and Washington are the playoff teams.

Atlanta (for sure) and probably Toronto and Milwaukee will be in the playoff mix, as well.

I have to agree. ATL's 5 of Teague, Horford, Milsap, Krover and Lou are a heck of a lot superior to anything the Wizards, Bucks, Cats, Raps, Magic or Philly can put. I say ATL make the playoyys and easily so.

I won't be surprised if the Knicks keep the No.2 spot in the East. Just because Miami will prep for a longer run, and there are PLENTY of health issues with Rose, KG and other carcasses in the east. INDY might push them, but I also think Pacers might play it safe and rest guys for a longer run as well.

don't think that came out right......it is less likely that the cavs jump all the way to 5than the knicks fall to 6

Neither team team will make it that high.

actually I'm NOT a knick fan anymore-but I'm a realist.the knicks didn't add much, but also didn't lose muchthe cavs are depending on bynum....nuff saidI mean the odds of NY falling from #2 to # 6 is much less likely than the cavs going from the bottom to #5

I wouldn't say that theres nets pacers heat bulls (no particular order) top 4 the knicks somewhere after that and the cavs prolly five er six depending on where the knicks are

Teague and Williams is an extremely mediocre back court that has no depth what so ever

Milsap and Horford is solid if not undersized front court and while Korver can shoot the lights out- he cannot get is own shot and has no prayer of covering most SFs in the league

and like i said- the hawks bench is some where between bad and worst in the league

They have such a happy picture of him.

Bet they're regretting giving amare that contrat. Good news is Hardaway jr looks really good in the summer league, to bad he got hurt though
