12:00 PM ET 07.15 | Former South Carolina Gamecocks running back is a player that you can't help but root for. After suffering a gruesome injury to end his college career, many wondered if the star back would ever be able to walk again, let alone play football. Miraculously, Lattimore is on his way to making a full recovery and making his impact felt on the NFL field. It will still be a while before Lattimore sees an NFL down - he is expected to start the season on the physically unable to perform list - but Lattimore believes that he will be ready to practice by midseason.

What do they mean you can't help but root for him? I'm a Packer fan. I don't want him to do well. I hope he comes back, and he seems like a good kid, but I'm not rooting for him to come back and play great by any means. Reasonably sure nearly every Seahawk fan will say the same too.

I hope he comes back and has a solid career in the league.

Google his injury, and you'll change your mind.

You read me wrong. I know the story well. I said I do like the kid and I want him to come back, but I'm just not rooting for him to do well (just against my Packers). He can kick but all over the league, just not against the Packers. :)
