07:19 AM ET 07.16 | The countdown is on, one now measured in days. On Monday, three days before announcing his college decision to the world, Bossier City (La.) Parkway quarterback Brandon Harris was at a camp on the campus of the school presumed to be his favorite, LSU. NOLA.com reported Monday that Harris was among those in attendance at the camp, which also drew such highly-touted prospects as five-star New Orleans-St. Augustine running back Leonard Fournette. ... On Thursday, Harris is set to announce a commitment to either LSU, Auburn or Ohio State. The 6-foot-3, 195-pounder threw for 2,673 yards and 28 touchdowns last season while rushing for 677 yards and 12 more scores, and told AL.com that he was impressed with Gus Malzahn and Auburn's coaching staff.

Odds are he will be a Tiger. Bwahahaha!

Not really an issue. I think Jeremy Johnson and Harris are a toss up. If Harris decides on LSU, Auburn offers and gets Sean White.

Aim high. Cutcliffe's Dukies.

If logic plays out, he'll pick LUS for the early playing time. Mett will be a senior, and JJ will be a redshirt freshman with a year of Malzahn's offense under his belt. Seems like a no-brainer. I'm not sold on White, but he seems to be getting a lot of hype right now.

If it was logic.. He would pick Aubie being he only has to beat JJ...At LUS, River is a redshirt soph... Plus we took 2 4* last year.. In Anthony Jennings(DT) from GA and the Rettig(PP) kid out of Cali...Rettig will most likely redshirt this year... Jennings has been super impressive and could pass Rivers as the #2... So I dont get the no brainer part.. more comp at LSU

See what you're saying. Guess it's a toss up. I see Marshall, JJ (for at least a couple years) ahead of Harris at Auburn.

Saw his Elite 11 stuff. Not sure he fits Malzan's offense as well at Harris would. Auburn will be taking only one QB for 2014. I'll be happy with either.

Look at the bright side. White was good enough to make it to the elite 11. Harris wasn't.

Yes, We Tu. And in the words of Ho Le ****, bird in the air better than two on ground.

Sounds like Harris must have let Auburn know he was going elsewhere. White didn't have an offer until this morning.
