11:33 AM ET 07.16 | Teams are always looking for a way to be innovative and incorporate technology into the game. Whether it was using iPads on the sidelines a few years ago or strapping cameras to quarterbacks' helmets during practice, teams want to get as much access to the game as they can. Now, the St. Louis Rams are taking things to a new level. The Rams have begun using Google Glass technology on the practice field. Google Glass gives a unique perspective of the field and the video could be used to give coaches an idea of what exactly the players are seeing out there on the practice field.

I think things were more interesting in the fifties. Dumping the mic and letting the QB's call their own game would be a good move.

What an unorthodox thing to do!?
