07:24 AM ET 07.17 | Entering the 2013 season with the momentum of Heisman hopes, Jadeveon Clowney said on Tuesday he's also becoming more comfortable in front of the media. [It] showed on Tuesday when he said Clemson's Tajh Boyd and three SEC quarterbacks were "scared" to face him and the Gamecocks defensive line. "I can tell Tajh Boyd is scared back there," Clowney said. ... Clowney, who is a member of both the Lombardi and Bronko Nagurski watch lists this season, said he doesn't taunt other players on the field other than to say, "Block me." But the 6-foot-6, 247-pound athlete knows fear when he sees it in an opponent's eyes. He said he saw it in Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray, former Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson and a third SEC quarterback he didn't name.

A good player, but trash talking in the media often motivates an opponent.

Not just this guy, but I wish all players would just shut up and play. Like a bunch of puppies yapping all the time.

But, I guess that's not what most fans or the media want. They want some lip to read/write about.

So the players are just accommodating them.

Speaking of Yapp, where's he been?

EVERY QB should be scared of Clowney! I just hope he doesn't have a let-down this season (and I went to Auburn). He should be fun to watch.

No need to mention scared QB from Alabama because they get a pass year in and year out by the SEC. The great BAMA with Satan Saban does not have to play the likes of UF, SC or UGA during the regular season. The get Kentucky, TN and other pushovers. Then they go out and add the powerful Georgia Souther (ever hear of them?) Wow, Saban it must be tough coming up with a game plan. Oh, that's right you don't even need a game plan to play those woosies on your schedule.
One day the SEC will see fit to adjust the schedules to where BAMA does not get one of the easiest schedules then Saban will wet his pants and the party will be OVER.
