01:56 PM ET 07.17 | Once famed slugger Alex Rodriguez is nearing his return to the Bronx Bombers, this after moving his rehab to Triple-A Scranton this morning. The New York Yankees third baseman will have his 30-day rehab window close on July 22 and is expected to be activated by the team when they take on the Texas Rangers. Rodriguez has struggled during his stint in Double-A, hitting a woeful five of 28, good for a .179 average. There was a display of some pop though as the shamed Yankee infielder did hit one over the fence and sent a few more into the deep corners of the park during his rehabilitation. Hoping to get A-Rod a little more comfortable with higher quality pitching, the Yankees will keep him in Triple-A for the next four days before activating him.

Yes, move him up to Triple A since he's been hitting the cover off the ball down in A and AA ball.

QUOTE(#1):

aarrrggghhhhhEnough already about A Roid.

I think this is his last year to be on a professional roster in this country at least. Maybe Japan will take him if he's mentally unable to realize it's over. I'm anxiously awaiting to see what MLB does about the lab in Florida...........Biogenisis?...........supplying all these guys. I'll bet it's going to be a big mess.
