07:12 AM ET 07.18 | Brian Kelly's recruiting Class of 2014 has landed another commit. Among the attributes that made Corey Holmes an attractive recruit, according to 247Sports.com national recruiting writer Steve Wiltfong, were that Holmes plays at a winning high school program, he's a polished player, and that he does everything well. ... The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Holmes, who plays at St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Wednesday became the 15th member of ND's recruiting class of 2014 when he picked the Irish over UCLA. Holmes also becomes the second receiver in the '14 class, joining Justin Brent of Speedway, Ind. The addition of Holmes is big in that he's considered a four-star recruit, but also impressive is where ND plucked him from -- talent-rich Florida.

SEC Media Days snitching the entirety of CFB.

Oh wait, is this where I'm supposed to put in "homer alert"...?

I don't understand why you Domers always have such optimism. You have not been in a NC game since 1988.

If I were a betting man (and I am)....I would bet ND loses on the road to Michigan, splits at home with MSU and Zero U on back-to-back weeks, and loses to Stanford. Thus, my 9-3.

I could also see them splitting with Pitt and U$C, so 8-4 isn't out of the question, either.

Still a good year for ND, but probably a let-down for the Domer Homers that bought in to being close to the best team in the country last year.

Nothing stands in the way for Notre Dame football to be in the top 5 til the year 2199 and beyond.

For I know not if he is a sinner as you say,, but I do know this,, I was blind but now I can see.

Umm, I think it's referred to as, "...a patsy schedule..", but I could be out of date and you may know something I don't.
In any case, check out ND's schedule--far from a "pastry" schedule.

Whatever it is, ND will be in every game to the end, will win some they were not supposed to win, and will be a top ten contender all season.
Huge change from the pre-BK era, and reminiscent of Lou's tenure.
The Irish are back, get used to it Haters!!!
