Looming QB controversy at Ohio State?

07:13 AM ET 07.18 | Just how crowded will the stable be when Stephen Collier arrives? Ohio State hasn't signed two quarterbacks in the same recruiting class since 2002, when the Buckeyes inked a highly-rated quarterback named Justin Zwick and another guy named Troy Smith. Since then they recruited Braxton Miller and Cardale Jones in 2011, but the Buckeyes had Jones enroll at a prep school and not sign until 2012. ... Now Ohio State has four quarterbacks on the roster in backups Kenny Guiton (senior), Jones (redshirt freshman) and [J.T.] Barrett (true freshman) and starter Miller, a junior who is the reigning Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year and is at least a possibility to turn pro after this year. ... During a recent session on Twitter answering questions, [Collier] embraced the idea of a redshirt season if that's what is called for.

Uhhh, I believe there have been more than a few people whining about this very thing occurring in that cesspool of a conference, the SEC. Hello pot, this is the kettle calling...

Go Bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Buckeyes are loaded. It won't matter though. Even if they win all their games they'll be disrespected for the conference they're in. Urban Meyer has brought his SEC style coaching to the Big Ten and it will reveal itself when we pound an SEC school in a bowl. Perhaps the championship game. Go Bucks is right Hillbilly. OH-

I thought that was crap then, and I think it is crap now...but, if I remember right, tOSU's offer was late in the game, and this was the plan both parties were wanting to follow. This doesn't make it right, though.

Come and take your pot back. As soon as I saw this artilce, I said, "that's an SEC trick". No suprise that UM brought it with him, as you didn't have the good sense to confiscate his official SEC Cheaters' Handbook and Prepatory Schools Listing. :-)

Did this trick occur after UM arrived, or prior to? I don't know the pertinent dates, any Bucks have good info here? I am thinking this deal went down prior to the Urb showing up, but not certain.
