07:05 AM ET 07.19 | For some, it's a double-take night in Minneapolis. A specified number of fans attending Friday night's game at Target Field against the Cleveland Indians will receive a two-headed bobbling keepsake in the likeness of Twins stars Joe Mauer and Justin Morneau. They are the M&M Boys, as they have been called throughout their mostly successful run over the past decade. ... That run, however, could be ending soon. Not for Mauer, who is signed through 2018 at $23 million annually and already is being enlisted to serve as the Twins' primary ambassador for the 2014 All-Star Game in the Twin Cities. Instead, it is Morneau, finishing out a six-year, $80 million contract, who is bracing for the end of his Twins tenure.

Too bad. He had a really nice career going for himself before the concussions.

Remember Curt Warner. It took him years to recover from the multiple concussions; but, he did recover very well eventually.
