09:24 AM ET 07.19 | After Mike Miller was waived by the Miami Heat via the amnesty clause, the Cleveland Cavaliers had reportedly considered putting in a claim on LeBron James' good friend as they prepare for another run at King James in 2014 free agency, but ultimately there was no team to place a claim. Now that he has successfully passed through the waiver wire, Miller is a free agent and able to sign with whatever team his heart desires. For Miller, he won't be short on choices. Among the teams interested are the Spurs, Thunder, Grizzlies and Rockets, who are all Western Conference contenders.

Spurs might his best bet since that's where he'll get the least minutes. OKC and Rockets will need him to do more than what he wants to, or capable of at this point in his career.

The Rockets would be the best fit for him. The Grizzlies need him the most. They need badly some outside shooting.
