06:17 PM ET 07.20 | According to reports, Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell says Justin Blackmon could be limited at the start of training camp, but probably not on PUP list. The 23-year-old wide receiver underwent groin surgery last month and was limited throughout OTAs and mini camp. The Jacksonville Jaguars will more than likely bring him along slowly due to the fact that he is already facing suspension. He will miss the first four games of the season for violating the league's substance abuse policy. It was Blackmon's third substance related incident in less than three years.

He's getting off to a promising start.

Justin Blackmon reminds me a little bit more of Charles Rogers every time I hear about him or watch him play, which admittedly is infrequently. The Jags are not an exciting team.

Regardless, with the exception of a few games last year, Blackmon has been unproductive on the field and a problem off it.

Not going well so far.

That said, the other Oklahoma State receiver seems to have finally (hopefully) put it all together. Dez Bryant offers a small amount of hope that Blackmon can resurrect his career, I guess.

Say what you will about Dez, he never screwed up as much as Blackmon has.

Three violations of the substance abuse policy in under 3 years. I couldn't care less what people put in their body, but if he can't put down the weed in the face of losing mega bucks, then he's a bigger fool than what I thought.

Indeed. All that money and they can't find a legally fun, extracurricular activity like Beer-Pong?

Not hating on Dez. I wish him the best.

I'm a Cowboys fan, and a Dez Bryant fan in particular.
