06:49 AM ET 02.11 | Patriots safety Rodney Harrison revealed what everyone wanted to hear: He's coming back - eager to atone for the 17-14 loss in Super Bowl XLII to the Giants. The loss has left a bad taste in his mouth.

What everyone wanted to hear? Four? Care to comment?

February 11, 2008  07:21 AM ET

It's amazing what HGH can do for a career...

February 11, 2008  07:22 AM ET

yeah just ask Roger and Debbie Clemens and then go ask Merriman

February 11, 2008  07:23 AM ET

YAY RODNEY !
however, I think McGinest said the same thing and then poof., he was gone.
Think I'll hold off on the teaberry shuffle

February 11, 2008  07:47 AM ET

Debbie's too busy benching 450 these days.

February 11, 2008  07:47 AM ET

Awww. But I wanted to see you do that nifty dance. Whatever a teaberry shuffle is!

February 11, 2008  08:13 AM ET

I wonder if he's trash talkin now?
u arent 2 loud when u lose!

February 11, 2008  08:52 AM ET

guess he likes getting burned by all those receivers...tight ends for that matter....

February 11, 2008  09:03 AM ET

I wonder if he still has the cleat marks from where Brandon Jacobs ran over the top of him? Still an above average safety. Never thought he was retiring yet..

February 11, 2008  09:08 AM ET

An off season conditioning program with Brian McNamee should insure success in 2008 for Rodney...

February 11, 2008  09:53 AM ET

As bad as the Patriots covered the Giants receivers I bet ALL of them are thinking about retiring!!! I was embarrassed for them and I AM a Patriot fan, oh and by the way the whole offensive line should think about retiring also!!!

February 11, 2008  10:00 AM ET

I am a licensed Hatriot and I would still take thme over most of the teams in the NFL. However, I must admit that loosing the only real game of the season when you are 18-0 is very funny.I actually forgot about loosing to Stanford for about three hours, thank you Patriots, i needed it.

February 11, 2008  10:14 AM ET

Think I just saw David Tyree laughing his helmet off.

February 11, 2008  10:26 AM ET

And don't forget the TE Boss, who burned him for that 45 yard bomb that started the comeback...If it weren't for RH and his punk-arse ways, I might actually be a Pats fan.

February 11, 2008  10:47 AM ET

The H in Harrison is for HGH.

February 11, 2008  11:02 AM ET

"what everyone wanted to hear"? is that objective reporting or what? why would a writer/editor chose a word like 'everyone'? I'm sure that many receivers 'wanted' to hear that, but I for one didn't/don't care. no safety has ever played a perfect game, and Harrison is just as vulnerable to a good offense as anyone else.

February 11, 2008  11:04 AM ET

This dude Harrison likes riding on the back of Brady.

February 11, 2008  11:25 AM ET

Hope all these comments against Harrison are from Giant fans. The rest can shut the h*** up. Your team, your coach, and your players couldn't do as good as the Giants or Pats so take a look at yourselves and try to figure out why your team isn't as good.

February 11, 2008  11:42 AM ET

Harrison continued.." Yeah, I want to play another year....there are still two or three guys I haven't taken a dirty cheap shot at yet"......

Well, the PATS really won that SB. He knows it. So will everyone else once the Blog is released:

* pics of Randy Moss being held by multiple GIANT defenders, including on a perfectly thrown 60 yard Hail Mary ("but hey, let them play")
* pics of 13 grasps to the facemask of Richard Seymour ("hey, let them play")
* pics showing the point of the ball Tyree caught hit the ground ("maybe, just maybe, he didn't catch that one")
* pics of Pierre Woods lying squarely and exclusively on the fumble that should have been awarded to the PATS
* the issue with the inappropriate stoppage of the clock that gave Manning 50 extra seconds to play with

We will have Big Fun on the Bayou.
(NOTE: Neither New York, New England, or Glendale, AZ have any geographic association with the bayou)
