10:57 AM ET 07.21 | JagrWatch 2013 rolls on and the smoke surrounding the possibility of him signing with the New Jersey Devils grows ever stronger. Czech broadcaster Roman Jedlicka tweeted saying it was "99 percent Jagr is gonna sign" with the Devils. This follows on the heels of news reports of the 41 year-old future Hall of Famer being in New Jersey to "inspect" the Prudential Center and to see what's going on there.

If this happens he won't have to worry about showing up in the SC Finals.

99 percent sure there were no other serious suitors

Flyers, Stars, Bruins, now the Devils (maybe), it appears Jagr's farewell tour from the league will involve playing for every team in the league. At 41 he's not going to make it but a good try anyway.

Report: Jaromir Jagr '99 percent' likely to sign with Devils. Not quite as sure as Ivory soap though.

Very likely he won't have to deal with playoffs pressure either.

Thought he would play this year in the KHL to ensure he is well rested leading up to Sochi...guess he plans to stay well rested while working for the Devils.

I was going to say that his tour of the "Metropolitan" division continues

Wait a minute. How can you all talk about this with the Royal Baby on the way? And no, I'm not talking about Crosby (this time...)

Ironic considering Jagr was one of the original Royal Babies.

July 22, 2013  09:06 AM ET

I don't believe it. Why play with nobody in NJ and maybe win 15-20 games, when you can go back to the KHL for better (tax free) money?
