Hoosiers face less hostile crowd

As Indiana freshman Eric Gordon warmed up Sunday about an hour before the game, an Ohio State fan, painted head to toe in white, shouted from the stands. "If you think it was bad Thursday at Illinois, you have no idea what it's going to be like today!'' said the fan. "We're going to be on you all day long.'' Not exactly. With the exception of a three-minute rendition of "air ball, air ball," every time Gordon touched the ball at one point in the first half, and a quick chorus of "liar, liar" as he attempted free throws in the final seconds, it was a kinder, gentler experience. "It was a lot friendlier out there,'' Gordon said with a smile as he stood outside the Indiana locker room after the game. "We just came out to play.''

Report Offensive CommentIt is a well known fact OSU bsaketball fans are awful, even last year when the Bucks were goodm the fans didnt show...So i doubt very seriously if the crowd did anything....

If Illinois had just booed during the introductions, but not embarrassed themselves by slandering Eric Gordon, his family, and the state of Indiana, we wouldn't be judging the Illinois fans so harshly.

Ohio State is the only team worth noting in the state of Ohio, so I often can be found refering to them simply as "Ohio"... makes no difference.

Funny how teams with way too high expectations coupled with basically being losers tend to have fans like that. People who themselves probably think highly of themselves... but are ultimately exposed for the pathetic losers in life that they are.
An 18 year old changed his mind. Grow the **** up and deal with it, you orange-painted morons. And if losing a single recruit does this to your program, 2005 was the last time you will ever get near a championship game unless you buy tickets.
