01:06 PM ET 07.22 | Most of the NBA trade rumors have gone the way of the dinosaur now that free agency itself is all but over, but here is one you likely have not heard yet. Reports say the Oklahoma City Thunder might move center Hasheem Thabeet in order to gain a third trade exception. Suitors for Thabeet's services are still unknown at this time. The finances of his deal should prevent Thabeet from being released outright. Then again, it's hard to know if any teams will want to trade anything at all for him after what has been a disappointing four years in the NBA to date.

EXACTLY!!! might as well keep him till his contract is up. Dude isn't costing much at all against the CAP to be considered trade bait.

I don't know what that means.

Apparently the 'Interns' don't.....or the post would've been deleted.

This is just another in many where a young player is not listening to the right people. Hasheem would have been better served staying at UConn. and finishing out his college career. It doesn't always come down to how you play in one year, but how you play over the course of 4 years. By leaving school early his growth was stunted and looking at him for however many games over the past 4 years (and they aren't many, but few) I think it's fair to say his future is bleek. If he could do at least one thing well then there might be a reason for someone to take a chance on him, but there IS NOT any one think that he does well. Hope he at least has a good financial adviser.
