07:14 AM ET 07.23 | Brewers outfielder and former MVP Ryan Braun's 2013 campaign came to a dramatic end Monday as the Biogenesis scandal claimed what was left of his season. But what does it mean for the Detroit Tigers? At this point, it's simply impossible to tell. From the outside, it's impossible to know whether Tigers shortstop Jhonny Peralta has been suspended and is fighting it on appeal, hasn't been suspended yet or won't be suspended at all. Tigers fans are in a hurry for answers about how this situation could affect the team. But at this point, there are none. Tigers general manager Dave Dombrowski was asked if there was an update on the situation involving the Tigers and said there was not. ... Peralta has declined comment from the start and did so again Monday through a Tigers spokesperson.

Are the Tigers shopping hard for a shortstop? That would be your clue.

Cheaters never win. I am a TIGER fan but this loser needs to be ban for the rest of the year and while he is gone DETROIT needs to fine a better shortstop.

We need all the facts before calling him a loser and banning him.

Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? You all need to hang on and see if he did anything wrong....and a better SS? Where? He's having a great year and the Tigers aren't going to find anyone better on the market.

Each club post in their club house any body betting on baseball will be banned from baseball for life. There has only been two incidences since 1919. If player union and MLB are serious about putting an end to PED use, any one testing positive will be banned for life. Do random testing without 24 hour notice. Team would draw 1 or2 no.s from 0-9. If one of those No.s match the last no. of your soc. a team Med Tech would get specimen and send it in for testing by an independent lab.

A life time ban from baseball For PEDS would also void contract. By putting teeth in penalty Players will have reevaluate the risk vs. reward.. At present a 50 game ban doesn't seem to deter the use.
