07:15 AM ET 07.24 | While a report suggests MLB may seek a lifetime ban for Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez, he apparently won't take the path taken by Ryan Braun earlier this week. [Rodriguez] has no intention of negotiating a settlement with Major League Baseball, two persons close to Rodriguez told USA TODAY Sports, and currently plans to appeal any potential suspension. The people spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the ongoing investigation, while Rodriguez continues to seek counsel from his legal team. Major League Baseball is prepared to suspend Rodriguez at least 100 games, according to a person with knowledge of the investigation, for his role with Biogenesis, alleged lies about past performance-enhancing drug use and possible interference in the investigation.

The new phone is great, but I am still learning its idiosyncrasies. At least it was free due to the extended warranty I bought, and I did not have to extend my Verizon contract.
How's things?

Time to go create mnemonic memory circuits using stone knives and bearskins.
Flips quarter to Lt. Cmdr Spock.
No greater than/less than symbols on Droid. But it does have tricorder features.

he wants his money. But fighting it, he wouldnt get suspended until next year (assuming yanks dont make playoffs). So he can collect his salary this year, then either go on DL and get insurance money or flat out retire..

I read that he's been cleared to throw by Dr. Andrews, but said that he won't return to the mound until late August.

QUOTE(#13):

sadly, the longer this goes on without an 'official' suspensionthe more I think Arod will BEAT this/clearly the evidence is circumstantial, or he would've been suspended- with braun- he sacrificed 3 mil for a 100 mil - - - that was brilliantwith arod- he'd be losing a TON more dough...so there's no reason to simply accept anything- unless he tested positive.

From what I have read MLB has a lot of evidence, including A-roid's attempt to secure and destroy some very damaging evidence from biogenesis, like 5 figure payments to them, as well as being caught lying to MLB investigators.
And MLB is very determined to punish him severely.
100 games or lifetime ban, don't forget he admitted roiding while with Texas, which counts as one strike.
