11:37 AM ET 07.24 | Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson and Chicago Bears return specialist Devin Hester are considered by many to be the fastest players in the NFL. While they rarely come across a man in the NFL that they couldn't beat out in a foot race, they are about to face another kind of challenge. Johnson and Hester will apparently be featured on a show that seems just slightly more well-thought out than Sharknado, entitled, "Man vs. Cheetah" on the Nat Geo Wild channel in November. As for the purpose of the show, it is just to show fast dudes racing animals all in the name of science.

This being the NFL, I assume there will be cop cars with lights and sirens providing extra motivation!

Compared to a cheetah these guys move like a glacier.

July 24, 2013  11:57 PM ET

Long ago someone raced a horse, just as dumb.

If the cheetah attacks, mauls, decapitates, castrates, and then eats them, the show would get high ratings.

July 25, 2013  06:55 AM ET

Only way I'd watch this, is if the cheetah gets to chase them.

July 25, 2013  08:19 AM ET

The Bears should sign the cheetah. I hear he can run routes and catch better than Hester.

July 25, 2013  09:06 AM ET

The problem is the cheetah would outrun Cutlers arm.

July 25, 2013  09:48 AM ET

I'd rather see them race a SharkNado...

Tie a piece of raw meat to each of their backs and see how long they last.
